Agreement to these terms

By accessing and using My ToolKit at my-toolkits.com ("the Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Site. These terms apply to all visitors and users of the Site.

I may update these terms at any time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

What My ToolKit provides

My ToolKit provides a collection of free, browser-based utility tools: a HEIC to JPG converter, a JSON formatter and validator, an IP address lookup, a Lottie animation player, and a word counter. These tools are provided for personal and commercial use at no charge. The Site also includes a blog with articles about developer tools, file formats, and related topics.

I make no guarantees about the continuous availability of any tool or the Site as a whole. Tools may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or factors outside my control. I reserve the right to add, modify, or remove tools at any time without prior notice.

Acceptable use

You may use My ToolKit for any lawful personal or commercial purpose. The tools are provided to help individuals convert files, format data, and look up information. You agree not to:

• Use the Site or its tools in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to overload, disrupt, or interfere with the Site's servers or infrastructure
• Use automated scripts or bots to make a high volume of requests to the tools in a way that degrades performance for other users
• Attempt to circumvent or reverse-engineer any rate limiting or usage controls on the Site
• Use the Site to process data that you do not have the legal right to access or process
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site's infrastructure

The fair-use limit built into each tool — a small number of uses per two-hour window, tracked in your browser's localStorage — exists to prevent automated abuse while keeping the tools freely available to real users. Attempting to circumvent this limit violates these terms.

Intellectual property

The content on this Site — including the tool interfaces, written articles, design, and code — is my original work and is protected by copyright. You may share links to the Site and quote brief excerpts from articles with proper attribution, but you may not reproduce substantial portions of my content or republish it elsewhere without permission.

The tools themselves process your data locally in your browser. You retain all rights to the files and data you process using My ToolKit's tools. I make no claim of ownership over any content you process through the tools.

Limitation of liability

My ToolKit's tools are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. While I work hard to ensure the tools produce accurate and reliable results, I cannot guarantee that they will be error-free or suitable for every use case.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, I shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site or its tools — including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or any errors in tool output. You use the tools at your own discretion and risk.

This limitation of liability does not exclude liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law. If you are processing files or data where errors could have serious consequences, I strongly recommend verifying the output independently before relying on it.

Third-party services

My ToolKit uses a small number of third-party services: Google AdSense for advertising, the ipapi.co API for IP address geolocation (used only by the IP Lookup tool), and Google Fonts for typography. My use of these services is governed by my Privacy Policy. I am not responsible for the policies or practices of these third-party providers.

The Site may contain links to external websites or resources. These links are provided for your convenience. I am not responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of external sites and do not endorse them.

Advertising

My ToolKit displays advertisements served by Google AdSense. These ads fund the ongoing operation of the Site and allow the tools to remain free. By using the Site, you acknowledge that you may see advertising content. Ad placement is designed to be non-intrusive — ads appear in designated spaces and do not interrupt or block tool functionality.

Privacy

Your privacy matters to me. The Site's data practices are described in full in the Privacy Policy. In summary: all tool processing is client-side (your files never leave your browser), the only external data request is from the IP Lookup tool to ipapi.co, and I use anonymised analytics. Changes to the Site

I reserve the right to change, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Site at any time, including the availability of any tool, feature, or content. I may also impose limits on certain features or restrict access to parts of the Site without notice or liability.

Governing law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the Site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in my country of residence. If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
